2023 XFL Championship Game (Arlington Renegades vs. D.C. Defenders)

As a lifelong Oklahoma fan, I am not overly surprised that Bob Stoops and his coaching staff created a great culture for QB Luis Perez to step into and perform at a high level.

Sorry I forgot to post here fellas but what an XFL ending to that season. A team with a losing record coming outta nowhere and winning it all. How can that not get fans excited with the hope that if their team gets into the playoffs, anything can happen.

So excited for the future of this league. Competition breeds quality and more professional football for the players to get a check is all the more wonderful.

Arlington played so well. Them getting Perez really injected new life into them. The Defenders must be gutted, it was their game to win but the Renegades showed they can bring it. Congrats to the Renegades!!! And it's good to see Arlington step out of the shadow of Dallas for once.

It sucks seeing DC getting beaten by sub-.500 Arlington after such an unbelievable run of the season, but massive props to the king of Spring Football Luis Perez for making the faithful decision to trade mid-season to Arlington from Vegas. He went from the most sacked QB midway through the season at Vegas to become Arlington's savior after such a horrid run with Drew Plitt....

Note : if any of the XFL higher ups see this comment, pls for the love of all that is good you need more teams for the divisional format to work properly, otherwise just don't bother.

I bet they make a movie about his life. Crazy he never played in high school and learned football from watching YouTube.
